LUDWIG ALBRIGHT (JOHANNES, HENDRICH) was born 11 Nov 1731 in Austria, and died 16 Nov 1810 in North Carolina, Orange Co., Hillsboro. He married ANNA MARIE KELLER 18 Aug 1751 in Pennsylvania, Berks Co, daughter of JACOB KELLER and CATHARINA WIRTH. She was born 11 Nov 1733 in Switzerland, and died 10 Jun 1803 in North Carolina, Orange Co.

Ludwick was the 5th child of Johannes and Anna Albrecht. Was about 1 year old when his family came to America from Germany. He married Anna Marie Keller in 1751. At the time of his fathers death he was living in Alsace Twp, Berks Co., Pennsylvania. His Occupation was a Wheelwright.
In 1763 Ludwick's name is listed in Rowan Co., North Carolina Naturalization records. He also purchased 258 acres of land from Henry McCullough in 1763. The 1780 Orange County Tax Listed Ludwick Albright with 305 acres and 308 acres in Chantham District. He was on road duty in Orange County. Both he and his son, Ludwick served in tha American Revolution. Ludwick died at the age of 79.
Ludwick Albright Will was proved Febuary Term 1811 in Orange Co., North Carolina:
In the name of God, Amen, I Ludwick Albright of the county of Orange and the state of North Carolina being in perfect memory, thanks be to the God Almighty, do make this my last will and testement.
1st, I commit my soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body I commit to the earth to a decently burial at the discretion of my exectors hereafter named and for worldly goods it hath pleased God to bestow on me I give, devise and bestow in the following manner and form.
I give and bequeath unto my son Daniel Albright, one iron stove, one clock and one iron potrack, which is now in said Daniel's own possesion to him and his heirs forever.
I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Cathy Holt, wife of Jeremiah Holt and my Barbara Powell, wife of Elias Powell, $100 each to them and thier heirs forever.
I give and bequeath unto my sons John, Philip, Jacob, Ludwick, George and Daniel, $10 each to them and thier heirs forever.
Lastly it is my will and desire after paying all just debts that all the remaining part of my estate to be equally divided amongst all my children, share and share alike, to wit, John, Barbara, Philip, Jacob, Ludwick, Cathy, George and Daniel, to them and thier heirs forever.
I nominate and appoint my son Ludwick Albright and Daniel Albright Executors of this my last will and testement, hereby revoking and disallowing all other wills by me heretofore made and do acknowledge this to be my last will and testement.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 3rd day of March 1810.
